10/12: The White House

A minature replica of the White House is currently in West Bend (just 15 minutes north of us). Since you can't tour the real White House right now, we decided that this would have to do. The model was built with a scale of 1 inch to 1 foot and started it's tour in 1975. Now we can tell Dylon that we took him to the White House to celebrate his first birthday!

This is the Oval Office, courtyard, and press room.

And this is of the back with all the rooms ...

They also had a couple "life size" rooms that you could sit in. Of course, my guys had to try out the seat of power. I'd vote for this guy for President any day!

I'm not sure who is running this country?

Someone is taking his job very seriously. Who knows ... maybe someday!

There was also a State Dining Room. Braden did a great job of taking our picture.
We enjoyed visiting the White House. Hopefully one day, the guys will get to see the real one. We've already decided that when they have a chance to go to D.C. for school ... we're both going with!
