Honesty

I was busy doing some clean-up around the house. Camping was fun - but what alot of laundry and mess!

Braden had been coloring, but I noticed that he was no longer by his books and crayons. I went to look for him and found him hiding under a blanket.
"Braden, are you hiding?"
"Yes ... Naughty!"
"Did you do something naughty?"
"Yes ... box."
He then got out from under the blanket and showed me a box he had tried to get into. It is a Christmas present that came in the mail and Mommy just hadn't put it away yet. He tried to open it, even though he had been told not to play with the boxes.

Even though he had been naughty, he had stopped and he was HONEST! It was one of those proud mommy moments when I saw the character of this little man that I love shining through. What a good heart. I pray that as he continues to grow, honesty will be key in his life.
