Feb. - A month in QUICK review

The month passed by ... somedays it seemed to go so fast, and others it seemed to drag. We are loving be close to family, but so anxious for the WI house to sell so that we can truly settle in here. We miss living together as a family and are eager to find our own church, plug in, and connect with some new friends.
But, while we are here, we're trying to make the best of it and enjoy life. It's teaching us about faith and trust in God. What a great story we'll have to share with the boys when they are a little bigger.

2/4: We met Daddy for dinner mid-week. It was so nice to only have 2 days between our visits. The boys enjoyed hanging out with Daddy and it made the week seem shorter. Uncle Jeremy made the trip to Denver with us and was a huge help during the car ride too.

2/6: The boys were so excited to go for a ride on the horses at the grocery store. And I was excited to see that the price was the same as when I was a kid -- just a PENNY!

2/6: The weather has been amazing. This was a "cold" day and all me needed were hats and sweatshirts. We are enjoying being outside and exploring the parks nearby. Braden enjoys being a big brother and wants to help Dylon join in all the fun.
2/7: Saw Uncle Dan and Aunt Tara. They were in town with their youth group for a Bible Bowl quizzing event. It was a short visit, but great to be in Colorado and able to see them more often!

2/8: We celebrated Daddy's Birthday a day early. Braden enjoyed making birthday cookies. And helping Daddy open his presents. Dylon was excited for all the tissue and wrapping paper!

2/9: We enjoyed making our Valentine's Day cards. Braden decided that he would make a good valentine too. Painting little boy feet was messy fun. And hopefully no one minded that Mommy wrote 2008 on them this year (Ooops!)

We spent a week in Scottsbluff (see seperate post) and had fun hanging out with MaeMae, going to Uncle Kaleb's basketball games, helping PaPa out on the farm, and playing with cousin Rebekah.

2/22: We stopped and had dinner with Grandpa and Grandma in Loveland. Braden held onto his Valentine dog all the way home.

2/23: Pikes Peak is amazing! Every day it is there. It reminds me of God's consistency in my life and of HIS great love for me.

2/23: With the awesome weather, we spend alot of time outside. The boys are enjoying riding the tractor, kicking balls, playing with bubbles, and jumping on the trampoline. They aren't to excited about holding still for Mommy's photo shots though.

2/24: One advantage of living with grandparents is having built in babysitters! We took advantage of this and enjoyed a night out on the town in Denver. It was 5280 week -- nice restaurants offer couples a full meal for $52.80. We enjoyed a dressed up night together, time with a few of Chad's coworkers, and taking Uncle Jeremy on a blind date (not a match, but it was fun anyways).
2/26: Why did we move to CO? Images like these explain it all! What a precious sight to see my "little" brother snuggling with my "little" boy! Priceless!!!
