Braden went to the Audiologist today to get his hearing checked. The test confirmed what the ENT doctor thought -- he is hearing at about 50%. I guess he's not just being naughty when he runs away from us! They are confident that the tubes will fix this problem and over time his speach will also improve. We are so thankful that the hearing loss is only temporary.
Braden was so good during the test too. He got to sit on my lap in the booth and wear headphones. When he heard the noise, he was to drop a block in the bucket. One time, he dropped the block before there was a noise, so he reached in and took it out. The audiologist was so suprised. She said that most kids his age would never do that and we have a "very smart boy". I could have told her that!
