Cold Water & Grandparents (6/27-28)

Saturday morning we said goodbye to the Verzal's, loaded into the van, and headed north to Scottsbluff. The boys took quick naps while I went to a baby shower for Chad's childhood neighbor with MaeMae. Then we were all off to cousin Sarah and Steven's wedding reception. It was nice to meet Steven and we enjoyed some time with other Aunts and Uncles from the Weinmaster family.

That evening, we went out to Lake Minatare with MaeMae. The boys had fun getting their feet (and clothes) wet in the water. Braden retreated from the cold water first.

Dylon is usually the first to have his fill. However, the lapping waves and rocks mesmerized him. He was shivering and still wanted more.

On our way home Sunday, we stopped in Loveland for dinner with Grandpa and Grandma Simmons. Have I said how fun it is to have family close by?!
